Edinburgh-based Dukosi to double workforce
Innovative battery technology company launching new programs

Edinburgh, UK – 10 February 2020 – Dukosi, the developer of disruptive battery management technology, today announces a new recruitment drive that will see its Edinburgh workforce double.

Dukosi is a developer of cutting-edge technologies that transform the way advanced batteries are designed, deployed and operated in applications such as electric vehicles and energy storage systems, and this next stage of growth follows the company’s acquisition by investment group KCK in October 2019.

The company will add an entire IC development team to design, develop and deploy next generation technologies and products. This ambitious recruitment program seeks to add highly skilled chip design engineers and associated capabilities to its Edinburgh facility. This team will develop core products using the Dukosi proprietary technologies, based on advanced silicon chips and embedded software and algorithms, which greatly improve the safety and efficiency of large complex batteries.

Nat Edington, CEO at Dukosi, said: “2019 was an incredibly exciting year for Dukosi and we are now looking to build on the positive momentum from our acquisition by KCK. Our technology can have a genuinely transformational impact on the next generation of batteries, at a time when demand has never been higher. We have many new exciting products to develop and bring to market in the next few years, and it’s important we continue to build our world class engineering team in key areas.”
